The Fiji Explorer is a comprehensive 12-day, 11-night island-hopping experience that immerses you in the breathtaking beauty and vibrant culture of Fiji’s Yasawa and Mamanuca Islands. This self-guided package offers a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, allowing you to explore five distinct islands, each with its unique charm and array of activities.
Your journey begins with a scenic cruise from Port Denarau to the Mamanuca Islands, where you’ll enjoy the lively atmosphere and numerous water-based activities. As you venture further into the Yasawa Islands, you’ll visit regions renowned for their crystal-clear lagoons, dramatic landscapes, and rich marine life. Activities include snorkeling with reef sharks, guided summit hikes, traditional Fijian cooking demonstrations, and the opportunity to swim with manta rays (seasonal).
Accommodations range from shared dormitories to private bures, catering to different preferences and budgets. The package also includes a full-day pass to Malamala Beach Club, which can be used before or after your island adventure, providing an extra touch of luxury to your Fijian experience. With all logistics taken care of, you can fully immerse yourself in the serene landscapes and warm hospitality of the Fijian islands.

Day 1:
Depart Port Denarau at a time that suits your schedule (options from 8:45am to 3:30pm) for a short cruise to South Sea Island.
Day 2:
Enjoy a full day on South Sea Island with unlimited access to non-motorised water sports. Drinks (local beer, wine, and soft drinks) are included from 9:45am to 4:00pm.
Days 3 & 4:
Travel to the Yasawa Gateway Region and spend your days exploring the resort or joining included activities. Be sure to join the summit hike for incredible sunset views.
Days 5, 6 & 7:
Head north to the Manta Ray Region. Relax or enjoy optional activities. Between May and October, you may have the opportunity to swim with manta rays or join a guided snorkelling trip.
Days 8 & 9:
Cruise north to the Blue Lagoon Region late morning on Day 8. Spend the afternoon at leisure before visiting the famous Sawa-I-Lau Caves on Day 9 (not available Sundays).
Days 10, 11 & 12:
Savour your final morning in the Blue Lagoon Region before heading south in the afternoon on Day 10. On Day 11, enjoy the last island stay before returning to Port Denarau in the afternoon of Day 12, arriving around 6:00pm.
Accommodation:
Specific hotel is allocated at the time of booking based on availability.If for whatever reason the hotels/resorts included in this package are unavailable at the time of booking then an alternative hotel/resort of the same/similar standard will be provided.
Price:
All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. Please note that prices quoted are subject to change during the search and booking process. Price changes occur due to matters outside our control including currency fluctuation which may increase the cost of the product or service. The price and the service are only guaranteed when paid in full. Please note that prices may not cover tips/gratuities for drivers or local guides, passport and visa fees, baggage fees, flight seat assignments, personal insurance, park permits, and any personal items. Additional taxes not specified in the price and beverages or food not explicitly listed under “Inclusions” in your quote may also incur extra charges.
Booking Requests:
All package enquiries are processed on a request basis. A non refundable $110 per adult deposit or full payment will be required upon confirmation of the booking to secure your preferred dates subject to supplier conditions. Suppliers may request additional deposits and these will be quoted upon confirmation and are in addition to Travelcation Group conditions. If your preferred dates are unavailable, we will suggest a suitable alternative.
Payment Terms:
Some suppliers may require a deposit or full payment in advance to secure your booking. You will be advised before we request confirmation if this is applicable. To prevent cancellation, all payments must be completed by due dates as per the payment schedule detailed in your booking confirmation.Payment for online bookings can be made by MasterCard, Visa and American Express. AA1.8% fee applies for credit card payment when paying by our secure payment gateway at https://travelcationgroup.com/payment. a 1.8% fee applies for credit card payment when paying by our sercure payment gateway at https://travelcationgroup.com/payment. No fee applies for direct deposit payments
Cancellation & Amendment Charges
Cancellations and amendments may incur fees. Our travel service providers reserve the right to impose cancellation charges, which can be up to 100% of the total amount paid for the relevant services, regardless of whether travel has commenced. If any refunds are received from providers, they will be passed on to you, less quoted cancellation fees. Deposits are non refundable and non transferable. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included but is highly recommended to protect against unforeseen circumstances. Supplier penalty fees advised will be applied in the event of cancellation.
